Band Of Skulls

Band of Skulls have announced details of a U.K. tour in February / March 2012. This follows their forthcoming show at London’s Heaven on 20th October. The Heaven show sold-out within minutes of going on sale in July.

The band have also announced plans to release the first single from their, as yet un-titled, second album. The Devil Takes Care Of His Own will be released through Electric Blues Recordings on Monday 4th December 2011 and will be available as a download and as a limited 7” picture disc.

A rather unique kung-fu themed video has also been produced to accompany the single.

The band’s second album was recorded at Rockfield studios in Wales with producer Ian Davenport and mixed in Los Angeles and New York by Nick Launey (Nick Cave / PIL / Yeah Yeah Yeahs). It is due for release in early 2012.

Having last played a U.K. headline show in October 2010 when they sold-out London’s Forum, the band expect another sell-out!

Band of Skulls are an alternative rock trio formed in Southampton. They have gained critical acclaim in the US where they have featured on the renowned Lollapalooza tour. They also feature on the soundtrack to the 'Twilight: New Moon movie'. Their unique ability to blend US garage rock with their distinctly British demeanor and style could see them become one of 2010's most talked about acts.
