'This Tiny Universe' EP Launch Event
Hacienda Records presents humanizer's "This Tiny Universe" EP Launch Event & Working For A Nuclear Free City.
DJ supports to be announced.
humanizer's week in week out rehearsal studios, based at St Philips Church in Salford will host the event marking their debut EP on Hacienda Records as they headline their first Salford show following a recent very well received Islington Mill gig at the end of July.
The event marks the release on Hacienda Records of humanizer's "This Tiny Universe" EP, which showcases the band uniquely poised sound with the first four tracks from this up and coming, highly rated Salford band. The band are already receiving great support from Clint Boon, Eddie Temple Morris, John Robb, Alan McGee, Jagz Kooner, Jon Dasilva for their independently minded style.
humanizer's effervescent and energetic, highly original sound takes in shades of early Stone Roses, modern psychedelic indie techno bands and the most respected dance music producers such as Carl Craig with a sound that has depth, guts and a warped sense of glory.
humanizer are joined by friends Working For A Nuclear Free City who have recently returned from dates in the United States where their mix of techno, shoegaze and indie rock is enduringly and widely admired.
Support DJ's are to be announced while St Phil's is regarded as one of the most individual and intriguing of gig venues across Manchester. A 300 year old listed church building, artists to have previously played at St Phil's include Laura Marling, Florence & the Machine, Bombay Bicycle Club, Cherry Ghost, The Walkmen and more.
Following the St Phil's Church Concert, humanizer will be supporting Peter Hook And The Light at The Lowry, Salford on Saturday 18th November.
