Ivyrise

Ivyrise formed in 2007 and began touring the UK with 90s Rock outfit Kula Shaker before working with producer Paul Simm to record songs for their debut album, due for general release in 2010. Since then, Ivyrise have teamed up with alternative Rock producer Alan Moulder, famed for his work with Nine Inch Nails and Billy Corgan from The Smashing Pumpkins .

On 28 April 2008 Ivyrise released their first single on Stage Records. The single, titled "Tips" entered the BBC Radio 1 Independent Chart at #5 with all 500 copies of the single sold within the first few hours of sales. The single also broke into both the HMV and 7 Digital Top 20 Bestsellers List during its first week of release.

In May 2008 Ivyrise toured the UK in support of their first single and were the winners of a competition run by thelondonpaper to support Bon Jovi on their Lost Highway World Tour.

On 28 June 2008 Ivyrise took to the stage at Twickenham Stadium and opened for Bon Jovi on their Lost Highway World Tour .

Ivyrise's second release, "Disguise," entered the BBC Radio 1 Independent Chart at #2 on 6 October 2008. The single was remixed by U.S dance legend Jason Nevins.[5]

"1000 Feet", the band's only 2009 release, became available as a download on 31st August 2009. The single was played on Absolute Radio.

Ivyrise toured the UK in February 2010, selling out London's Islington Academy and the Leeds Cockpit The band are expected to decamp to Paris in March and April 2010 to continue recording a debut album, due for general release in Autumn 2010
