Patrick Monahan
Manic physical comic
In the past 6 years since Patrick started performing stand-up he has had a meteoric rise u the stand up comedy ladder. He has gone from open spot to headliner in an incredibly short length of time and is now a regular MC and headline stand up performer at the top London and UK comedy clubs including the prestigious Jongleurs circuit and the comedy store. In addition Patrick is now hugely in demand as a TV warm up comedian due to his loveability and clean funny material.
Patrick is also a regular now at the Edinburgh Festival where for the past 4 years he has presented solo 1 hour shows: 2004 he performed at the Gilded Balloon with his first solo show 'Game On' and 2005 he moved to Underbelly where he had a hit with his second solo show 'The road map to Peace'. His festival 2006 show was 'Do the Right Thing' and really established Patrick as a showman as well as comedian with a wonderful mix of stand-up and audience participation. This year (2007) he returned to the Underbelly to perform 'Feel the love' which not only included his signature audience interaction as well as stand up material fit for all ages.
With his hugely lovable and funny persona and his ability to think on his feet a television career is now firmly in Patrick's sights.
