First UK headline arena tour

The Script take centre stage with the announcement of their first UK headline arena tour, tickets are on sale at 9.30am on Friday 1st October.

After supporting Take That and U2 on big stadium tours last year, The Script celebrate the release of their number 1 album 'Science & Faith' and the top 5 single 'For The First Time', by embarking on a UK Arena tour for 2011.

Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power say:
"Our 1st Arena Tour is now upon us and we can't believe this magic run we are on. First and foremost we are a live band and this stage is something any band can only dream about. We are so humbled that people from every walk of life are putting us in this position and are eternally grateful for your love and support. We're gonna give it everything, we just can't wait!!"

The Script are an Irish pop rock band from Dublin, Ireland. Currently based in London after signing to RCA Label Group imprint Phonogenic, the band released their debut album of the same name in August 2008.

On 7 April 2009 the band were confirmed to be supporting U2 on their third concert at Croke Park, which took place on 27 July 2009. On 29 April 2009, the band announced that their next single would be Before The Worst, to be released on 15 June 2009. In July 2009, The Script opened for Paul McCartney at the historic first concerts at New York's Citi Field and for U2 at Dublin's Croke Park.

The Script tickets are on sale from 9.30am Friday 1st October
