Play Manchester's Ruby Lounge
The Whip are excited to announce a run of live Gigs including Manchester's Ruby Lounge in September to mark the release of their brand new album ‘Wired Together’.
Some thought evidently went into the bands choice of venue, the band had this to say 'We've picked these venues because we know together with you we can turn them in to serious sweat boxes! We’ll be playing some songs we’ve only just started playing together live as a band (as well as all the faves from our first album!) so we’re so up for getting back out there and having it at all three shows!'
The Whip are a band whose founding members come from Oldham, Greater Manchester, UK formed in 2006. The band's debut album, X Marks Destination, produced by Jim Abbiss, was released on Southern Fried Records on March 24, 2008. They have released several singles on record labels such as Kitsuné. Their tracks "Trash" and "Divebomb" were featured on the Kitsune Maison Compilations 3 and 4 respectively. They have also been commissioned to do remixes for bands such as Editors, Hadouken! and The Courteeners track "Fallowfield Hillbilly". Their track "Muzzle No. 1" appears in the soundtrack for the FIFA Video Games 2009 video game.
