Westlife Confirm 'The Greatest Hits Tour' for May 2012.

Kian, Shane, Mark and Nicky will be celebrating 14 years of success and giving fans a chance to re-live some of their best-loved songs.

From their debut hit Swear It Again, which topped the charts way back in 1999, to classics like Flying Without Wings and Unbreakable, the Irish quartet promise a night to remember.

Westlife are, undoubtedly, one of the most successful bands of recent times, racking up two BRIT Awards, an MTV Award, a World Music Award and no less than four Record of the Year accolades.

In the UK alone they have earned the title of “Biggest Selling International Band” of the decade, scoring a massive 10 multi-platinum albums, which means they are the third highest No. 1 single holders beaten only by Elvis Presley and The Beatles.  The tour will celebrate a number of these hits, including infamous covers Uptown Girl, Mandy and Against All Odds, which will feature on the deluxe edition of the band’s Greatest Hits album, which is released on November 21.

The band said: “It’s almost hard to believe that we’ve been doing this for as long as we have. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved and are looking forward to releasing our Greatest Hits album and performing them live on the tour as a special thank you to our fans who have supported us throughout our career.”
