Will Young, the most successful British male popstar of this millennium will perform in the Pink Pavilion on August 8, the night after the close of the Blaenau Gwent and Heads of the Valleys National Eisteddfod, as part of The Valleys Heart and Soul campaign.
The concert is a collaboration between the Major Events Unit in the Welsh Assembly Government, this year's National Eisteddfod host authority, Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council and the Valleys Heart and Soul campaign.

Will Young, who shot to fame after winning ITV's Pop Idol eight years ago, will be appearing on  Saturday 7^th August 2010 at Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. Will Young has sold more than eight million records and just released an album of his best known singles called The Hits. He will entertain the crowd with best-selling songs such as Evergreen, Leave Right Now, Who Am I and Changes. This is one of a number of his summer performances around the UK this year.
